Bob brings over 30 years of experience in the areas of leadership, sales strategy, corporate oversight and deal structure to Commonwealth Capital through a wide variety of different business verticals.
Bob became security licensed in 1987 with his Series 7 and Series 63 and begin his financial services career as a stockbroker with Sherwood Capital specializing in the research, analysis and marketing of NASDAQ stocks to his clients. He spent 13 years at Charles Schwab & Co. in escalating leadership roles (becoming Series 8 licensed) including Sales Training Manager and Regional Sales Director where he was responsible for developing 5 business development teams across the country that annually surpassed asset targets of $4 Billion. As part of his role with Charles Schwab & Co., he and his team helped develop and implement the advice interaction strategy that propelled the company from a reactive discount broker to the proactive advice provider the company is today.
Bob also owned and operated JC Property/KB Management, a real estate investment/property management company specializing in mobile home park community operations with responsibilities ranging from developing and implementing property standard operating
process to all financial oversight. This role included overall due diligence responsibility for all property acquisitions/dispositions, deal structure and capital raises with projects ranging from $10 Million to $125 Million.
Most recently, Bob was the Owner/President of DAC Group LLC which focuses on developing and implementing strategic business solutions including sales strategies, business development execution and capital raises for his clients.
Bob earned his B.S in Finance and B.A in Economics from Illinois State University and his MBA with emphasis in Marketing from Loyola University of Chicago. Bob lives in McCordsville, IN with his wife Debbie. They have two daughters, Alexis who works in Fashion Merchandising in Los Angeles and Cassie who is the Event Coordinator at Youth for Christ in Indianapolis.
