Mr. Hein is an accomplished corporate strategist and strategic marketing / brand building professional headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Since 1974, he has advised retailers, manufacturers, service providers, product designers and developers, private-investors, as well as senior executives and board members on specific decisions and implementation issues ranging from merchandising to changing an organization’s culture and management methodology. Recognized by numerous business professionals as an extremely sound business strategist and marketing consultant, Mr. Hein has an impressive record of new product development for turning negative business performance into enviable business performance.

After serving in the U.S. Army as an infantry officer, Ken initiated his business career as a medical products specialist with Pfizer pharmaceuticals, being assigned to turnaround an underperforming key Midwest territory. After successfully completing this assignment, and with a heart for challenges unique to the retail industry, he won a coveted position with the world’s premiere greeting card company, Hallmark Cards. Over the ensuing eleven years he was twice recognized as a district and national sales leader for Hallmark and, as a result, was elevated to a Product Marketing Managers position, accepting responsibility for all marketing matters for multiple product lines.

Since the late 1980’s Mr. Hein has served clients as large and diverse as those representing the Fortune 100, to firms just beginning their entrepreneurial journey. Primarily, engaged for the benefits of his conceptual abilities in the analysis stage and the subsequent creation of actionable strategies, he has also assisted several client firms in their pursuit of debt and equity financing.

Mr. Hein holds a MBA (Marketing) from Rockhurst University, Kansas City, Missouri and a BS in Business, Marketing/Public Relations from Emporia State University, Emporia, Kansas.
